Contract Award
The School Board Monday night
awarded a contract to Pinniier
and Watkins for the proposed addi

R. Perrin, architect for- the pro
ject, announced. .
Lowest bid on the contract was
M10.957 which included six class
rooms and remodeling of the build
ing front. Brosterhous' bid for the
same two items was $123,752.
Plans Include the six-room ad
ditlon with three rooms on each
floor, leveling and re-grading of
the front play area with construc
tion of retaining walls along the
street front to provide a play area
for smaller children, and modern
ization of the 'front entrance. In
addition to the above work, the
Board is contemplating enlarging
and modernizing the kitchen dur
ing the summer. A plan to add a
stage and music room to the audi
torium was postponed.
Work will start Immediately and
should be finished by mid-December.
