Of France Dies
PARIS Wl Col. Rene Fonck,
World War I French air ace, died
unexpectedly yesterday at his home
here. He was 59 years old. to
cause of death was not announced.
Fonck was credited with 75 air
victories during World War 1. In
one of his greatest exploits, he
knocked down six German planes
in one hour.

She is now helping screen writers
with the script of her father's Ule.

The story has a good romance
too, she said. Her father originally
fell for her Aunt Margaret, a sing
er. He was expecting to meet her
at a train, but the singer' sister
stepped off instead. That started
his life-long romance.
The script, which Is now called
"My Ideal," will be directed-by
Roy Rowland, and talks are now
under way for a deal with Warner
Brothers. It would be a musical
