From 1922 to 192S when he hung
up his gloves, Llllard had 28 fights
and scored 21 knockouts. He quit
the ring at the height of his career
after getting a draw , with Danny
Edwards, - Negro bantamweight
champion of the world.

said today she Is leaving a "tense"

"Oomph Girl" was giving up her
San Fernando Valley home to live

reported to have commented:
"Winy stay in Hollywood and wait
for an ulcer?" So I queried her on
the "Rage of the Jungle" set and
she confirmed the report. :

couple of pictures a year. That's

sons for her switch. One of them

When she bought It she said, it
was out in the wilds. Like the
rest, of Southern California, the
area has boomed and there are
houses all around her. She now
has to light an hour of tralflo to
get to work.
