Lloyd H. Mudder, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry H. Mudder, Friday
evening. May 29.

Lutheran Church, in the presence
of a large gathering ol invited
friends and relatives.
Before the ceremony Richard
Melum sang "Because," accom
panied by Mrs. Arthur Denisou,
organist, who also played Mendel
ssohn's Wedding March.
The bride was escorted down the
aisle by her father, who gave her
in marriage. She was lovely in a
gown of white satin styled with
a brief train. A crown of white
stephanotis held her filmy finger
tip veil. She carried a single white
orchid surrounded with clusters of
tiny bows of white satin ribbon
with long streamers almost touch
ing the floor.
Five year old Howard, brother
of the bridegroom, was ringbear
er. He preceded the bride and
carried the rings on a small round
white satin pillow. J
Bridesmaid, Beverly Ferniman,
was charming In a frock of pink
lace; accented with a bouquet of
American Beauty rosebuds and
stephanotis tied with narrow, long,
pale green streamers of fine net,
Ushers were Willis Clidden and
Johnny Powell.
The bride's mother wore a gray
suit and her corsage was of Amer
ican Beauty roses. Mrs. Mudder
chose a navy blue costume to
wear to her son's wedding, and
her corsage was of red roses.
After the ceremony, the soloist
sang "ine Lord's .prayer."
The reception was at the home
of tne bride's parents; and tne
spacious rooms were filled to over
flowing with the many guests.
Norma Lee cut the elaborate
wedding cake baked by Mrs.
Floyd Ewlng and Alice Webb,
her cousins, Mrs. Ed Scholer
poured.
The new Mrs. Mudder changed
to a gray gabardine suit for travel.
She wore a white hat and match
ing accessories. Her corsage was
the orchid from her bridal bou
quet. After a brief honeymoon "some
where on the coast," they are at
home, 4107-A Homedale Road.
Evergreen Garden Club
Furthers Wiard Park Plans
The Evergreen Garden Club met
Monday evening, June 1, with
18 members and three guests in
attendance. Guests were, Mrs.
Gene Merrltt, Mrs. Rosella Put
nam, and Mrs. Robert Hawkins.
Members of the club welcome
guests and are hopeful that the
meetings prove interesting enough
that guests become memoers.
Important items of business
were discussed, and one of the
most important was setting a date

, It is urged that all Interested
persons participate. The show is
open to anyone in both arrange
ment and horticultural classes, A
plant sale will also be held in
connection with the flower
show, proceeds of which will be
divided between the Ml. Lakl, Poe
Valley and Evergreen Garden
Clubs.
A garden tour, particularly of
iris gardens, is planned for Mon
day, June 22. A schedule of the
tour will be made by Mrs. Alma
Uppendam and Mrs. verona Dan-ler.
Mrs. Lela Thurman and Mrs.
Alma Garrison gave a report on
the progress of the Iris specimen
bed at Wiard Park. The bed is
now being filled in and will be
ready for planting this summer.
It will be sixty feet by eighty feet,
with flagstone paths through it so
that the iris can be more easily
observed. A tour of garden club
members and families was dis
cussed to obtain the flagstone for
the paths. It is hoped to obtain
some siiiuba for background plant
ing. Installation of officers was con
ducted by Mrs. Lcla Thurman.
Mrs. Joe Schuli waj installed as
the new president; Mrs. S. H
Dahler as vice president; Mrr.
Clark Kendall as secretary and
Mrs. Duane Alexander as treasur
er. After retreshments were served
by Nick! Larson and Alma Oarri
son, Mrs. Lavern Kendall talked
on flower arrangements, during
which time she displayed various
containers and essential pieces of
equipment for satisfactory ar
rangements.
Each ej the members had pre
pared an arrangement typical of
one classification on the flower
show schedule. These were dis
cussed and constructively criticized,
in order to give the members a
better Idea of what is acceptable
to a flower show arransement.

is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George Eiting, former Klamath
Falls residents; and she Is the
niece of Mr. and Mrs. George
White; granddaughter of Mrs.
Clara Bowen; and cousin of Mrs.
Ken Mulligan and daughter; all
of whom went from here to attend
the wedding, April 6.
Taylor Is associated with the
Ralph L, Smith Lumber Company
in Anderson, where the couple Is
at home after a honeymoon trip
along the California coast.

and sons; and Mr. and Mrs. Jack

The Rev. Thomas E. Steele read
the 3 p.m. service In the presence
of some 150 invited guests and relatives.

GUILD MEETING

ther Noble entertained the Guild
of St. Barnabas Church at her home
in upper Langell Valley, May 28.
Mrs. Noble, president, was In
charge of the meeting.
The Guild plans to hold a plas
tic party at the Parish hall June
11 at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Dorothy
Ewings of Klamath Falls hostes
After a short business meeting,
the members sewed for the bazaar
to be held this fall. Next meeting
will be June 25 at the home of
Mrs. Owen Pepple in Bonanza.

A 10 a.m. Nuptial Mass in Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
May 23, united Gwendolyn Beckley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
J. D. Beckley, 3 Prescott, to Salvador Tantilla, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Tantillo, San Jose, in marriage. The Rev, Harold J.
Buckley officiated at the impressive morning service wit
nessed by invited friends and relatives.
The bride's veil cascaded from a seed pearl trimmed
cap over an all white ankle length dress of nylon net and
satin, styled with a full skirt.y

day, May 28. The executive board
convened at 11 a.m. and shared a
sack lunch at noon.

dants, who wore identical frocks
of pale green net over taffeta.
Their full,' three tiered skirts
flared from fitted bodices topped
with a stole effect of net. Beverly
Young, maid of ' honor carried
white carnations with pink rose
buds and a softly feathered net
cap framed her hair. Mrs. Charles
Catello, sister of the bridegroom,
carried a bouquet of pink enrna-
tlons and white rosebuds, and ner
cap of net was pattefled after the
maid of honor's.

rosebuds. Mrs. Tantillo, mother of
the bridegroom, wore a navy sheer
accented with embroidery; and
her corsage was of pink rosebuds.
The reception was at the home

quets throughout the rooms.

also aunt of the bride, cut the
cake. Mrs. F. A. Steen, another
aunt; and Mrs. Al Blinker, San
Lorenzo, assisted. Mrs. Larry
Azevedo (JoAnn Steyskal; regis
tered the guests.
For travel, Gwen wore a gray
wool two piece dress with match
ing topcoat and accessories.. After
a trip to California coastal points,
the new Mr. and Mrs. Tantillo
are at' home In Monterey Manor,
