Klamath Falls announces that work
has started this week on dlsman
tellnc the Union Service Station at
8outh Sixth Street and Klamath
Avenue. Union has purchased tha
property adjoining the present
structure and Is expanding to make
room tor a new modern service
stntlon.
Work will begin on the new
structure as Foon as the old build
ing Is removed and completion has
been set for June 1.
The new service station will be
a large unit of the most modern
design and Includes two service
bays and two pump Islands. It
will feature the new trnpatold
shaped canopy which will cover the
entire service area and will aflord
protection to the customer. This
style of construction is neing icn
tured in all new construction by
Union Oil and this new unit will
lend a great deal to modernise and
make more beautiful the business
district of Klamath Falls.

Lane Death
Learned Here
lAKEVIEW Denis C. Lane, an
Adel rancher for 43 years died in
Lakevlew Friday, April 3. He had
been rushed here from his ranch
after being stricken with a heart
attack while at work In the fields.
Lane was born January
13. 1894. In Ireland and at death
he was 69 years, two months and
is nays or age. He nad been a
Lake County resident for 49 years
ano a rancner at Adel lor 43 years.
Lane was married at Medford.
Ore., in 1920 to Oertha Clark, who
survives. In addition to Mrs. Lane,
who resides at Adel, Lane Is sur
vived by a son, John Lane; a
daughter, Mrs. Clara Morris: and
by one grandson, all of Adel.
Lane was a member of the Cath
olic Church and the Elks Lodge.
Rosary was read at 8 p.m. Sun
day April 6, at the Ousley-Oster-man
Chapel, The funeral mass was
held at 10 a.m. Monday, April (,
