with a break In the deep well
pump, in operation since 1048.
The pump has been pulled and
while repairs are being made, water
will be pumped from the auxiliary
well, which has been determined
bacicriologically sate by state
chemists.
The city council, last week autho
rised a drilling program to drop
the well to 3.000 leet in hopes of
finding- sod, pure water. Estimates
will be sonant on cost to be pre
sented to the council at the Jan. S
meeting.
