THE SAILOR ... on top of their wedding cake, is symbolic of the bridegroom. He's in the
Navy Air Corps. In fact, his unexpected leave, and indefinite future assignment changed the
date of the wedding. And because of the earlier date, the wedding was informal. They are
Mr. and Mrs. James VV. Pinney, who were married in the Bible Baptist Church, at 8 p.m., Nov.

bride is escorted by him to the altar. After the wedding in
Bible Baptist Church, the reception was held at the home of
the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snyder, 2828

A short busines meeting was held

Wednesday of every month instead
of the first Thursday. Mrs. Bill
Cunningham accompanied the

singing; of Christmas carols.
Refreshment were served at the
close of a pleasant afternoon to

blue accessories, pink close fitted

white Bible centered with a white
orchid.
Geneva Prnce waa the bride's
only attendant, and she wore a
powder - blue suit with blue acces
sories. Her corsage was of pink
and white carnations.
Murray Pinney attended his
brother as bast msn. and Mark
Pair and Thomas Schwelgher were
ushers.
LaVerne Burgess sing "I Love
You Truly" and "Because." ac
companied by Mrs. B. F. Sprague,
organist.
The reception was at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snyder.

Christmas party of the Players
Club held in the club rooms of
the City Library. Dec. IT. I p.m.
Hostesses for the occasion were
Mrs. Lloyd Young. Mrs. C. U. Dak-
in. Mrs. Harvey Teal, Mra. iiuoeri
Vanderhoff Jr. and Mrs. John
Baker.
Alter the short business meeting
cards were in play. High In bridge
went to Mrs. Walter Hoag. High
in pinochle was won by Mra. H.
Kranenburg. The door prite went
to Mra. B. M. Simon far having
the birthday nearest Christmas.
There was a gift exchange as the
highlight of the evening.
Next meeting will be held Jan.
7, at the aame time and place.
