Sumpter, 33. who died in a Eugene
hospital Friday, are to be con
ducted from the First Christian
Church. Pine t 9;h Street, to-
morrow, 10 a.m. The Rev, George
Alder is to olltctate.
Sump'.er's death was attributed
lo a cerebral hemorrhage. He was
ill only a few days prior to his
death.
Besides the widow, Mrs. Mildred
Sumpter. he 13 survived by three
small cnitdren and his mother.
The children are Donna. Gary and
Charles. The mother Is Mrs. Ethel
L. Boyer. Otis, Ore.
Interment is to be in Klamath
Memorial Park.

TULELAKE A hearing i to be
held at 3 p.m. this afternoon be
fore the Modoc County Board of
Supervisors m A It urns on a tril
lion to withdraw a four square
mile area from the Newell Un on
School District and put it back into
the Tvilelakt Elementary School
District.
The rea under contention lies
north of Road 101 In Modoc Coun
ty, according to Supervisor James
Stearns. He said the opinion with
in the area itself appears to be
fairly equally divided.
Results of the hearing and any
decisions made should be available
after the session, he said.
