well-known local rancher, whose
death on the preceding Monday

schools, being a graduate In 1031
of Fort Klunmth High School, of
which Harold Ashley, longtime

Delbert enlisted In the U. 8. Marine
Corns, and saw much combat duty
with his division overseas. His fath
er died two years ago, and in ad
dition lo his mother, survivors In
clude his widow, Aileen. of Klam
ath Falls, and two small children.

Frank Babcock
Frank Edwin Babcock, tl. resi
dent of Klamath County for H
yeara, died Bunday morning at
Hillside Hospital.
An employ of the city school
system In the maintenance depart
ment, Banc oca waa an enthusiastic
lover of hunting and fishing.
Babcock was born In Lorain, 0
July 27, 189t.
Survivors Include his widow,

in, all of Klamsth Fall; a aon,
Fred Follett of Reedport; broth
era, A, A. Babcock, Granta Pass,

Babcock was a navy veteran of
World Wars I and II.

Mel Baldwin
The Mel Baldwin show, a come
dy variety feature of CBS. Is to
be broadcast over station KFLW
Wednesday, Dec. 3, B:30 p.m.. on
tape recording. Station Mgr. Bud
Chandler has announced.
Baldwin waa chief announcer at
KFLW when It first hit the airways
March 31, 1919. Later he went to
CBS,, Portland, and now has his
own show from KNX, Hollywood.
Another former KFLW announcer.
Chuck Cecil, Is a full-time staff
member at KFI, NBC, Los Angeles.
Mrs. Baldwin is the daughter of
Mr. and Mra. George Davis. Klam
ath Falls.
Baldwin's show Is broadcast
