Canadian cattle and other live
stock products will be lifted March
1.
It was Imposed Feb. 36 because
of an outbreak of foot-and-mouth
disease.
The department said the lifting
of the ban la contingent on no new
outbreaks of the dread disease In
the Interim.
The announcement follows bv
nearly three months the lifting of
a similar ban on Mexican livestock
and livestock product because of
a serious epidemic In that country.
The department credited strong
measures adopted by Canadian of
