In the Klamath Falls area and
also in Portland on the chance that
he might have gone there.
His disappearance calls to mind
two other persons who in recent
years have disappeared on the Res
ervation and to this date have not
been located.
On June 18. 1940. Jefferson Car
men Riddle, a 23-year-old Modoc
Indian, left Klamath Agency Hos
pital and dropped out of sight. He
was traced as far as Beatty and
has never been seen since.
