of at least 15 billion dollars In the
budget President Truman is re
portedly ready to present to Con
gress in January.

Truman budijet will call lor an
85-bllIlon-dollor outlay. Rep. Taber
(R-NY declared:
Spending can be held to 70
billion dollars."

gress will have to use the axe on
every lederal activity, including
