AAUW't recent Silver Tea, was of course, not
en anniversary celebration but a day t aside
annually to raite furidc for a fellowship;
awarded to a qualifying woman college grad
uate for advanced study. At a matter of fact
. . . the local organization dates from February
28, I92S . . , putting it comfortably past the
25 year mark. Many patront have made thii
-project a yearly success; and through it more
women have 'been recognized in various
specialized field).

INTREPID INGENUITY . ..with "driftwood-lile" manzanita . . . vied successfully with an Audubon chromo
lithograph (colorful masterpiece of the art of printing from stonel Below the print ... on the table draped
wilh fith net ... bleached bare twigs of menzanita on a slab of the same wood, tea shells, ivy and Japanese
float formed the arretting and unusual arrangement.
