meeting of 81 Auguslme'a Altar
Society last Wednesday afternoon
when the group met in the new
parish hall. Mrs. Harris led the
prayer.
Plans were dl.ieu.vicd tor the an
nual baiaar to be held Saturday,
November t. In the hall. Thla
year a smorgasbord will be served,
and the society sdvlses that
seconds and even "thirds ' will
be permitted, with eno6h food on i
hand to serve at least ao people.
Serving will be from 6 to I P m.
snd tickets will sell for 11.16 lor
adults, and 1100 for children.
Committees have been made up
and will be posted so that each
member will know his Job tor
the basaar. A gift for the various
booths will be solicited from all

The Venture Club held a busi
ness meeting, Tuesday evening
October 7, at the Wiilard Hotel
President Edith Plerucclnl called

various committees. Plans were
made for a membership drive. The
main topic of the evening was dis
cussion on the projects for this
