The sponsors of the 16th annual
Klamath Basin Potato Festival in
vite the active participation of bus
iness lirms, service clubs, organ
izations, lodges, and private indi
viduals in the festival parade on
Saturday, Oct. 18.
Floats entered by children's and
teen-age organizations, schools eic,
will be ulaced in Class 4. a new
classification this year, so that
they will not have to compete with
adult organizations. Prizes will be
1st: $30 or cup: 2nd, $20: 3rd. $10.
Parade prizes for the other
classes are as follows: Class 1,
Commercial (implement dealers,
business houses, etc.) 1st $30 or
cup; 2nd $20; 3rd $10. Class 2,
Service Clubs (Chambers of Com
merce, Lions, Kiwanis, etc.) same
as for class 1. Class 3, Organiza
tions and Lodges; same as lor
Class 1. Class 5, Comic Section,
(funny costumes, old vehicles, etc)
1st $15: 2nd $10; 3rd, $5. Class 6,
Children's Division, three divisions,
