To all owner of landi lying within
the area proposed to be included with
in the Poe Valley Soil Conservation
District, comprising tha territory de
scribed s follow:
Beginning at tha southwest comer of
Tins, R5E, W.M., said point being on
the county line between Klamath and
Jackson counties; thence east approxi
mately 18 miles along township line to
tha west shoreline of Upper Klamath
Lake; thence In a northeasterly direc
tion across said lake to the southern
boundary of tha Klamath Indian Res
ervation; thence along the boundary of
the Klamath Indian Reservation east
approximately 12 miles, south 1 mile,
east S miles, south 1 mile east 1 mile
to the southeast corner of Section 12,
T37S. RU'jE. said point being at the
Intersection of the boundaries of the
Poe Valley and Lngell Valley Soil Con
servation districts: thence north along
aectlon line 26 miles to the southwest
comer of Section 31, T32S. RUE: thence
ast 8 mtles along the township line
to the Klamath county line; thence
north along the county tine between
Klamath and Lake counties for a dis
tance of 60 miles to the intersection of
the Klamath and Deschutes county
lines; thence west along the county
line between Klamath and Deschutes
counties approximately 33 milea to the
Douglas county line: thence in a south
erly direction along the county lines
between Klamath count)' end. Douglas
and Jackson counties to the point of
beginning, excluding from the above
described area all lands owned by the
Weyerhaeuser Timber Company as
shown on a list filed with the State Soil
Conservation Committee dated Septem
ber 5, 1952.

the hours of 2:00-5:00 and 6:00-3:00
p.m.. a referendum will be held in tha
above-described territory upon the pro
position of the Inclusion of the said ter
ritory within the Poe Valley Soil Con
servation District, a governmental sub
division and a public bod)-, corporate
nd politic, of thu state.
Every person, firm, corporation, state
ounty, or municipal agency being the
recorded owner of. or holding under
contract of purchase, more than ten
acres of lands lying within the said
territory la eligible to vou, and only
such arc eligible to vote.
