Shakespearean actors, has been
lured to Hollywood. To his own
surprise, he likes the town.
Gielgud and Sir Laurence Oliv
ier are the top exponents of Shakes
peare. The difference between
them is that Gielgud has limited
his classic emoting to the stage.
whereas Olivier's has also been
canned on film. That may or may
not account for Gielgud's decision
to take an offer to play Casslus
in the film version of 'Julius
Caesar.
At any rate, he Is here. And
apparently Hollywood turned out

The 200 scientists from 12 coun
tries gathered here for the Third
International Astronautical Con
gress agreed almost unanimously
that the "saucers" aren't men
from Mars or any other body out
in space.
The experts also said they did
not believe the reported flying
iiscs were a new weapon but
they did not rule out that possibili
ty completely.
Most of the scientists at the con
gress said, however, they felt the
Illusion theory probably was cor
rect. They also agreed It would take
man many more years of research
before he can fly rockets into out
er space. But they firmly believe
travel between the planets will be
possible someday.

Andrews and Marta Toren are
good as the leading characters,
but George Sanders and Audrey
Totter are wasted in their roles.
