seems to be a bigger field than
fishing. The reason for said state
ment being that the latest Fish and
Wildlife releases show that the 48
states will receive some $10,025,106
for development of wildlife re
sources during 1953 while the same
states will receive only t2.50g.527
for sport fishery restoration pro
jects. Of course the figures are contus
ing in many ways because some of
the wildlife restoration funds will
normally be channeled Into pisca
torial fields through (he Pltunan
Robinson bill. The fish bill is known
as the Dlngell-Johnson Act.
But any way you look at it you
can't get around the fact that both
hunting and fishing are bigtime
businesses in the world of today.

the provisions of the Pittman-Rob-inson

million dollars less than the whop

Retired Man Kills Daughter
In Self Styled Mercy Killing
MIAMI, Fla. I A retired gro
cer stabbed his 18-year-old invalid
daughter to death with a butcher
knife yesterday and later explained
to police: "I couldn't stand to see
her suffer any more."
Police called the slaying of
Adela Moskal a "mercy killing."
Detective Charles Sapp said
John Moskal led officers to the
body of his daughter in the bath
room of their apartment and said:
"My girl is. all right now."
The detective said Moskal rela
ted that while his wife Mary was
out shopping, he led the girl into
the bathroom and plunged the knife
twice Into her breast. .
"Before my baby's birth." Sapp
quoted the 67-year-old father, "my
wife injured herself by falling
against the corner of a counter.
The baby was never normal.
"There was a soft spot In her
head and the doctors said some
thing about a nerve not protected
and every time It made contact
with other parts of the brain it
drove her crazy.
"This nerve made contact 16 or
20 times an hour, all her life. My
