at a farm nouse near nere ana at
tacked a woman with a hammer.
The victim. Mra. Margaret Ben

rifle, quickly brought to her by a
dauiihter. Connie. 13.
Mrs. Reason told police Connie
answered the door and the man
asked lor her mother. When Mrs.
Benson put In an appearance, the
man began hlltlni her with the
hammer. She acreamed to Connie
to bring the gun. The man dropped
the hammer but snatched 11 up
again aa he fled.
Police aald there was no ap
parent motive lor the attack. Mrs.
Mra. Benson said ah had never
seen the men before.
