The decision, by Revenue Com
missioner John B. Dunlap, does

Editors.
The Society, in its efforts to
break down secrecy in Rovernment,
has asked lor automatic publicity

Lewis' demand for new wage con
tracts for his soft coal diggers ap
peared Friday to have thrown a
monkey wrench into government
plans to take price controls off
the bituminous coal Industry.
A price control official said the
Office of Price Stabilization (OPS)
was on the verge of suspending
soft coal ceilings before Lewis
served notice in the past two
weeks that he wants to end his
United Mine Workers' contracts
with the Industry Sept. 30.
Now, this official told a report
. the price agency will have to
adopt a wait - and - see attitude.
Of primary concern, ne said, is
whether a strike will occur and
for how long.
