himself in the bullpen with the
other relief hurlers. "Can't be out
there and manage," were his
words.
The scrapping, curly - haired
favorite of Michigan fans had been
a relief pllchcr this season under
manager Red Rolfc, who was fired
at 6 p. m. Saturday. Hulch never
had a losing record in 'six previous
seasons as a starter.
Hutchinson's appointment came
as a complete surprise. Hutch

Gems Stadium, the second stopped

Lakevlew picked up Us bats and

a nine-run rally going with none
out.
Lakevlew promptly announced It
was forfeiting Its remaining two
games with Medford.
The two wins gave the Cokes
