Mrs. Hubert Wagers accom
panied Mrs. Ann Sprague to Ash
land on Friday where Mrs. Wagers
will spend a few days visiting with
her mother Mrs. Parkhurst.
Mr. and Mrs. Mac Bolton Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Woods and Dcl
mer attended the Bolton-Spurling
wedding at Junction City last week
end. Much happiness is wished
for the newly-weds, Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Bolton.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Murphy,
and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Murphy
visited lasl week-end with Mrs.
Lilliam Pardue and Bob. They all
spent the day picnicking at Dog
Lake.

week. Lloyd purchased some cat
tle at a sale near there on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Warner went
over in Uie truck Sunday to bring
them over.

family have left for their home at
Lodl, Calif., after visiting with his
irother, Mr. and Mrs. rea wei

veck. They also spent Wednesday
visiting with their aunt, Mrs.
Delpha Nelson and Mr. and Mis.
Robert Nelson on the East Side.
Mrs. Lou Roberts was moved
home Thursday from a Portland
hospital. Her daughter-in-law Mrs.
Jess Roberts, brought her home,
and we are very glad she is able
to be home again and is gaining
her health so rapidly.

Yuba Cltv are visiting with her
broiher, Ralph Renner and family
They plan to visit for several
weeks
Mr. ' and Mrs. Loy Lamb were
calling at the home of Mrs. Lillian

The Hairy Crowl family, the
Onrv Morris Sr. family, and Gary
and' Marie Morris spent Sunday at
Dog Lake fishing and picnicking.
The frost seemea to nave nn

anywhere else in the valley. It is
hard to determine Just how much
riaman is done although the grain
apparently has been hit quite hard.
According to reports, it will de
pend on what stage the grain was
In when the frost struck, as to
how badly It was damaged. The
gardens were mostly frozen down
to the ground.
