MR. AND MRS. ARCHIE L. REID celebralcd their 55th
wedding anniversary yesterday, June 10. They were mar
ried in Chicago, tame to Oregon 32 years ago and to
Klamath Falls in 1930. Mr. Held, who was in the laundry
business for 54 years, built and operated the Men's Hand
Laundry here. He now owns and personally operates
I'op Hold's Place on East Main Street. He was born in
New Brunswick, Canada, and is 79 years-old. Mrs. Reid,
born In New Orleans, Is 81. On their fiftieth anniversary
they went through a second wedding ceremony and honey
mooned in Chicago, New York and Canada. I lore to help
(hem celebrate were Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Clapp, Fort
land, long-lime friends.
