in the Southwest the days of rain
fall in the East did not shift cor
respondingly. Dr. Langmulr's recent statement
to the Tucson. Ariz., Daily Citizen
was at variance with Wexler'g in
terview of Sunday. Langmuir said
hi rainmaking experiments have I
been proved beyond valid doubt to
be successful.
The Defense Department got
mixed up In the aigument because
It sponsors Laiiginulr's experi
ments, so Moody took the problem
to Secretary Lovett. So far. Uie
department has remained silent.
