pearl llara. Her necklace of pearls
were a gift of the bridegroom. The
bride carried a white Bible with a
single orchid lied with satin stream
ers pieced on top.
Maid of honor was Yvonne Con
ner, who wore nlle green net over
laffeia. The bridesmaids Joyce
Hankina and Delores Conner wore
Identical dresses of pink and blue
net over taffeta. All wore matching
headbands,
For her daughter's wedding Mra.
Haskins cho--e a gray suit, with
black and white accessories and a
pink rosebud cortage. Mrs. North
rop wore a sheer print street-length
dress. Her cor-ane was of carnx-
lions and rosebuds In pink and
while.
A reception. In Ihe church social
parlor, followed the ceremony. The
linen covered bride's table was
centered with a bouquet of tulips
and lilacs In a crystal bowl. Tall
lighted tapers were placed on either

The three-tiered white wedding
cake was trimmed with silver leaves

The second Installation ceremony
of Klamath Falls Assembly, Order
of Rainbow for Olrls, was attended
by approximately 100 members and
friends, May 2. In the IOOF Hall,
which was decorated with bouquets
of lilacs and a large Rainbow emblem.
Distinguished guests were, Mrs.
Ethel Hamilton, grand deoulv of
Oregon, Mra. Alma Coulson. grand
deputy of California and Mrs. Alice
Wilson, mother advisor of Tulelake
Assembly.
The ceremony was opened bv
Worthy Advisor. Lucille Ward.
Tulelake and following tht rap of
the gavel. Installing Chaplain. Carol
Moore placed the open Bible on
the altar. Also from the Tulelake
Assembly were Installing Recorder,
folly Heynes; and installing Mu
sician. Sally Thomas. Installing
Marshal. Martha Beasly. wai from
the Malln Assembly.
Guests were welcomed by hostess
of the evening, Mrs. Lois Oueck.
The line officers-elect, wearing
gowns of pastel tints and corsages
of rainbow colors, entered the as
sembly room and formed a ccouliake Assembly Mrs. Vera Fritsch

elect. In a ballerina length gown
of orchid net, carrying amall
whitt Bible and a miniature bou
quet of rainbow colored flowers, ap
proached and slowly outlined the
cross formed by the girls. She then
recieved the obligation at the altar,
and waa conducted to her station
in the East, where she was pre
sented with a bouquet of red carna
tions by her sister, Edith, and was
honored with a vocal solo by Polly
Ilaynes.

Concluding the ceremony. Lucille
Ward presented the gavel to Doris,
who announced the theme for her
term of office, "Why Rainbow:'
She outlined her program for both
the ritualistic and social observ
ances of the order. She then Intro
duced her parents, Mr. and Mri.
Ernest Wallin. and requested the
marshal to present her arm bouquet
to her mother and her Bible to her
father.
Instrumental and vocal entertain
ment by the three Schults sisters
from Tulelake preceded the escort
ing of the honored guests to the
East. Mrs. Hamilton, Mra, Coulson,
Mrs. Wilson. Mrs. Rejnmiller, wor
thy matron, Tulelake Chapter OES.

Mrs. Walter Brown, mother ad
visor of the Klamath Assembly, ex
pressed the gratitude of the ad
visory board and herself to all who
had assisted in the work or the
Installation ceremonies.
Doris then presented Janice Lar
son, retiring worthy advisor, with a
gift from the assembly.
Mrs. Brown, assisted by Janice,
I awarded merit badges for attend
ance to the ten qualifying girls.
Members and guests adjourned to
the dining room, where Mrs. Wal
lin served at the punch bowl and
Mrs. Larson presided at the cof
fee urn. The table was centered
with a large impressive Rainbow,
emblem formed of flowers and a
cake with "Doris' inscribed on the
frosting was featured. The center
piece and elaborate cake, both gifts
to uoris from Mrs. Gueck were
further highlighted by streamers in
Rainbow colors, which ran the
length of the white covered table.

will be Monday, June . 8 p. m.. in

LANGELL VALLEY Mr. Leon
ard Horning entertained at their
home at Gerber Dam May 25 with
a birthday dinner honoring her
husband. Following the dinner the
guests enjoyed boating and fishing.

and Mrs. Robert Burden and Mr.
and Mrs. Horning.

Calif., is bride-elect of Jack Ronald Golden, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Walter C. Golden, former well-known residents
of Tulelake, now of Santa Ana.

er, of Balboa and Anaheim. Cali
fornia, to Jack Ronald Golden, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Golden,
Santa Ana.
Mr. and Mrs. Golden were Tule
lake residents from 1927 to 1949,
and still have extensive farming
and other Interests there. They
owned the Marion Apartments here
for a number of years, and have
numerous friends In the Klamath
Basin. .
The bride-elect is a graduate of
Marywood High School, Anaheim,
also Immaculate Heart College,
Hollywood. She is member of
Kappa Gamma Delta sorority, and
was vice president of the student
body. Her parents are a Pioneer
family of Orange County.
Jack is a graduate of Tulelake
High School, USC and is a member
of Chi Phi fraternity and Trojan
Knights.

en both wore navy blue silk en
sembles and wore frosted pink rose
corsages.
Nelda Schumacher, sister of the
bride-elect, wore a powder blue
brocaded taffeta and her wrist cor
sage was of CymbicUum orchids.
