NEW OFFICERS OF FREMONT PTA, who will guide parents and teachers through an

White flowers and blue candles
were arranged to complement the
Installation service.
The same color effect was car
ried out for the refreshment tables
in the dining room where white
lace cloths over a blue background,
silver tea and coffee services and
a lighted punch bowl were effective.
A flower-laced trellis and indir
ect lighting added an interesting
note. Decorations were planned ana
arranged by George Boudon, new
Royal Patron.

BUTTERMILK GRIDDLE CAKES
(Makes It rakes)
1 cup sifted flour
3 tsp. soda
;a tsp. salt
1 eRg, well-beaten'
1 cups buttermilk
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Sift flour, measure and resltt with
soda and salt. Beat egg, combine
with butermilk and melted butter.
Add to flour Gradually stirring onlv
until smooth. Bake on a hot, well-
greased griddle until bubbles ap
pear on top. Turn once and bake
until lightly browned.

3 tsp, baking powder
4 tsp. soda
3 eggs
