EXTRA PAY For every drill you attend, you
draw pay ranging from $2.50 to $6.62 par
drill. For Summer Camp you can make
from $37.50 to $99.23 for two weeks of
training.
RETIREMENT After 20 years of service you
will be eligible for retirement pay equal to
a $20,000 annuity policy. This retirement
pay does not cost you one penny. i
SERVICE SCHOOLS You will have the oppor
tunity to attend any service school at full
army pay another chance to increase your
value to yourself and your nation. These
schools vary in length from 12 weeks to 9
months.
COMMISSION Through Military Corres
pondence Schools you can win a commis
sion in the National Guard of the United .
States.
PROMOTION As you learn, you are ad
vanced through the enlisted grades, from
Private to Master Sergeant according to
how well you master the subjects taught to
you. These promotions bring added pay.
