Commission will begin processing

without local TV service were
listed bv population according to
the ast census and the commission
said application would be pro
cessed In that order.
The cltlea were divided Into two
group with equal priority. Port
land Is in the A-2 group which In
clude cities eligible for both ultra
high frequency and very high fre
quency channel assignment.
Among other cities listed in the
trrouD with Portland are Denver,
Spokane. Wash., and Sacramento,
