active hog market Friday pushed
prices as much as 11.25 higher to
a top of $22.85. the highest since
August 20, when butchers topped
at $22.90.
All classes of cattle were very
light In supply and steady in view
of only 600 head received. There
were enough sheep to make a
market.
Butcher hogs under 230 pounds
were up $1.00 higher and sows 75
cents higher. The top was $22.85,
and heavier butchers sold from
$20 00 to $22.25-
A truck lot of choice to prime
