The hard-running Malm Mustangs
edged out stubborn Hrnlry and
blue ribbon-grabbing Merrill to cop
the Klamath County "B" track and
field championship at Modoc Field
yesterday.
Malin chalked up 64 points, Hen
ley 56 and Merrill 33.
Not until the last three events
were recorded was Malin sure of a
victory. At one point the Mustangs
led the Hornets by only one point
late in the match ... 49 to 48.
