slated for Sunday night by the
choir of the First Presbyterian
Church under the direction of An
drew Loncy Jr.

sing some of the old and modern
hymns of some of the world's great

termission, and they will reign
over the 1952 Junior-senior prom.
Clayton Hannon and Betty Red
field, Junior class president and sec
retary respectively, will crown
them.
An Oriental theme -was chosen
for the decorations but the actual
plan for them are being kept se
cret to the seniors. Many Juniors
have planned and worked hard on
the decorations programs, enter
tainment, music, refreshments and
other pbases of a dance which are
so essential and Important In mak
ing It a success. Jana Langslet, as
chairman of the decorations, is
credited with much of the planning,
although many Juniors .were deco-'
rating today, tonight and all day to
morrow. Programs were available yester
day and todaV during the noon hour
In the students' room, and they can
also be picked up U the doors Sat
urday night. Rules for this dance
are the same as for any school
dance or formal. All persons who
are attending as guests must be
registered with the advisor of the
sponsoring group, who in this case
would be Miss Eva Burkhalter, fac
ulty advisor to the Juniors.
Here Is a sincere wish that every
one who goes has a wonderful time,
and that we can always look back
on this dance a being the best for
mal ever attended by the seniors

Sophomores are in the news to
night, too, for they are sponsoring
a food sale all-day tomorrow, which
will be held at the Pine Street mar
ket and Sears. Cakes, cookies and
pie will be sold.

for their Junior-senior - prom next
year, so lets really support them

end with several games and meets.
Medford tornadoes met with, the KU
Pelicans on Modoc field this after
noon for a baseball game, and the
KU tennis team is hosting the
Southern Oregon district tennis
team tills afternoon which includes
