Indian Woman,
Man Stabbed
Two Indians, a man and a wom
an, were found wounded and in
poor condition walking a Chiloquin
street early this morning, and were
brought to Klamath Valley hospital
here alter treatment at the Klam
ath hospital.

gene Fisher, a Klamath tribe en
roilee. and Wesley Brown, a Cali
fornia Indian, were reported wan
dering on the street covered with

Brown was treated for a ripped
abdomen, the Fisher woman lor

injuries. Officers said the tw had
apparently been drinking, but
would not tell officials who their
assailants were.

Thomas Harold Rupe. 32. Mer
rill, pleaded guilty to larceny In
a dwelling. In other court action
this morning and was remanded
to the county jail to await
sentence.
He admitted stealing three guns
from the borne of h brother-in-law.
Everett L. Ward. 1600 Ivory,
about August 5. of this year.
Rupe said he took the guns br
cause he was broke and sold
them In Idaho for about 1130.
One of the guns has been found,
according to the district attorney.

skidding vehicle was 16-year-old

sion ditch on the Old Joe Wright
road near the Lost River canal

Man Suffers
Leg Fracture
Jack Schulze, 46. of 1511 Pacific
Terrace. Is In Klamath Valley hos
pital today with a broken leg suf
fered in a fall at Mt. Shasta last
evening.
According to the man's wife,
Schulze slipped on Icy pavement,
and the leg was broken In two
places.
He was treated at Mt. Shasta
hospital and then returned here by
a fellow 8c hoop and Schulze Tire
Co. employe traveling with him on
a business trip to Mt. Shasta
