MERRILL Merrill Cub Scouts
held a monthly pack meeting No
vember 9. A large number ot
parents and Cubs were present.
Den 3 was awarded the pennant,
"Be Square", for having the most
parents and Cubs at the meeting.
Each den put on it's puppet
show. Billy Danosky was awarded
his lion silver arrow. Cubs having
two years ol cubbing completed
and receiving service stars were
' Billy Danosky, John Haskins.
Buddy Maupin, Brian Fields and
Dennis Mattson.
One - year service pins were
awarded to Carl Shuck and Bemie
Wolfram. Three Lion Cubs grad
uated from tha pack, Billy Danos
ky, John Haskins. and Buddy
Maupin. Mark Wtnther was ini
tiated as a new Cub.
The annual charter review was
held December S. at the recreation-
hall. Carl Murphy, council
representative received the char
ter with the pack leaders.
Officers for the coming year will
be: Roy Beasley, institutional rep
resentative; Roy Mattson. Cubmas
ter: Myron Haskins, assistant Cub
master; and :WiIbur Brickner.

take a special class In the subject
next semester.
The regular Christmas program
given by our music department will
be presented tomorrow night at the
parents and patrons meeting.
A short business meeting will be
held at 8:00. after which Mr. Loney,
music director, will Dresent the pro
gram. Included In the musical are
the boys glee, crass sextet, or
chestra and the a cappella choir.
Refreshments will be erved by
the French club in uie caicteria.

Klamath suburban area last night
peddling tickets for the annual sub
urban volunteer firemen's dance
scheduled for New Year'a Eve at
the armory.
The truca will maintain constant
contact with the fire department
headquarters by short wave radio.

Tickets will be on sale the rest
of this week from the truck, and
afterwards will be sold ad the fire
station and by any volunteers.
