next March.

Mr. and Mrs. Steward KrleRer,
Seattle, were visitors last week at
the John Beers.
. Friends tailed at the P. E. Trot
man home September 27, on their
wedding anniversary, and many
congratulations were received by
the couple.
Joe Sasser. recently returned
from overseas, visited With Mr.
and Mrs. O. J. Harris, and with
the Max Hnrtlernrfes HTnmniA in
the states he visited with Tommy
ana niaxtne cole in Honolulu;
Mr. and Mrs. R. Black and farm
Uy are moving to Salem to reside.
They have lived in Merrill for a
number of years.
Rev. Forrest Travallle, former
pastor of the Merrill Presbyterian
church, who has been doing mis
sionary Work In Thailand for sev
eral years was honored with a re
ception at the church parlors Wed
nesday evening. Rev. Travallle
showed movies of his work on an
noripniriirni up. am in rrkaiian
and refreshments were served al
the close of the evening by ladies
of the. church. Friends of the Tra
vallle from Klamath Falls and
surrounding area enjoyed the so
cial evening. Mr. and Mrs. M. A.
Bowman were Hosts to the Visitors
while they were here. '
Mothers of the fourth and fifth
grade campflre-girls met at the
home , of Mrs. Dale West Friday
afternoon to discuss activities of
the group for the coming year.
Each girl will have a ceremonial
gown, and mothers are to assist
their daughters In earning honor
beads. Refreshments were served
by the girls to the. following: Mrs.
Don Carson, Mrs. Al Price, Mrs
Harvey Dennan, Mrs. o. M. Cehan,
Mrs. Bilev DeLnn. - Mrs. J. n.
Moore, MrsT Wayne Woods. Mrs.
