iary met Tuesday December 13. for
a potluck supper In the community
hall. The ladles reported sending a
Christmas box to Roseburg for the
hospitalized veterans children, and
to Portland for the veterans gift
shop. The auxiliary are too mors of
a Bluebird and Camp Fire group,
and Mrs. Lorraine Mahaffey. Blue
bird leader, reported that her troop
would meet In the kitchen of the
community hall.
Cliff Shuck made a business trip
to Ashland Sunday.
At the last meeting of Merrill Li
brary club the members enjoyed
vocal selections by Mrs. William
Falvey. and group singing with
Mrs. Lillian Thomaa at the piano.
Mrs. Murray Howard Is leaving
soon to spend the holiday season
with her daughter and family In
Longvlew, Washington. She will re
turn after the first of the year.
Several Merrill families hsve
gone to various sections of the mid'
west for the holiday season. Mr.
and Mrs. Howard Irenblce are go
ing to Pearl City, Illinois; Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd Llsk and family plan to
spend the holidays In Minnesota.
