Aware of the need tor fire pro
tection, a group of Btrwart-Lennox
citizens called an organizational
meeting In March of IMS to organize
a volunteer department.
Approximately 00 people attended
and heard Keith Ambrose, then
Klamath Pall chief, urge them to
obtain protection.

Forest Protection headquarters.
This Include all of Btewart-Len-rox,
Palrhaven, West Klamath and
Russela camp.

on a reckless driving charge, but
that wasn't the worst.
A woman walked up while police
were questioning him, and she ex
claimed, "You're the one who scared
hell out of me. I ought to slap your
face.
And she did.
She walked away before police
recovered from their surprise.
