Background
Meyer I now a reildent of Le
onla, N. J., but wag born In Wieg
baden, Oermany, of an American
father and a Oerman mother. Art
training waa compuliory in hit
native country, and he allowed con
siderable talent at It. Nine year ago
he eama to America, and to get hu
high echool diploma he worked an
a duthwaiher during the day and
went to echool at night. After he
got hi hard-earned diploma he
entered the U. 8. army and law
