by the parent. Every parent should
make a real effort to become belter
acquainted with the aclioola and
teachers during thla week and every
week ol the year.

All school have programs planned
and If parents do not find the achool
their children attend listed, they
may call the school for Information
about event and date.
Window display and posters will
be featured In downtown Merrill thla
week, and both the grade achool
and high school will participate.
Open house at the high achool will
be Thursday evening, and Thursday
will also be visiting day at the grade
school. There will be a PTA meet
ing on November ITr

hibit of pupil work and teaching
demonstratlona will be shown each
day until the end of the week, aa
these are visiting daya. The PTA
meeting was last Prlday night.

be given to a panel discussion.

Chest drive. Local Chairman Wil
liam Lorrnx said at a planning
meeting at the city hall last night.
The county organization ha ac
cepted a budget for the district
teen-age center amounting to 73 per
cent of th Wood river and Chilo
quin Chest quota.
