At tne last meeting of Klamath
Fall Toastmlatres club members
went on an Imaginary trip to vari
ous parts of our country.
Wanda O'Brien, toaatmlstreaa for
the evening, introduced the first
peaker. Myrtle Van Meter who
alerted the trip with a vllt to the
Lava Beds. She told of many his
torical markers which were erected
because of historical events that
happened there long ago.
This was followed by a visit to
Crater lake by Vea Poll, who told
of various stops along th way. and
gave a vivid description of the visi
tor's reaction to first seeing Crater
lake; this was followed by a Malt
to Lake o' the Woods by Wanda
Elliott, who gave Interesting facts
about this region. Including Rocky
Point, Harrlmsn'a lodge and the old
Dead Indian road.
Topic Mlstreas, Vivian Owens,
asked each member for a short talk
on television. It's history and future
effects on different phases of our
lives.
