Last Sunday. September 25. a
semi-trailer load of apple rolled
over Just north of Risbergs' on hlgh
wav S9. No one was hurt but the
trailer was badly wrecked. It was
quite a Job to turn the trailer back
ud. because they had to unload all
the applet before they could turn
it back up.

Polio Victim
Word has been received that little
Sybil Browning, who moved from
here to the Portland area with her
parents in the spring, has been con
fined to the Portland Isolation hos
pital with polio. The case is de- .
scribed as light, and all are hoping
there are no ill effects. Her father,
Joe Browning, was confined at the
same time to another Portland hos
pital after undergoing a knee opera

J. R. Turner, who are the proud
. rents of twin girls, Delia Kay,
who weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces,
and Stella Fay, who weighed 7
