atreet department will be halted for
the winter month when the Calif
ornia avenue paving Job la com
plete. City Engineer Taxi" Thoma

atreet work during the cold weather.
At the same time tha onslaught
of fall and winter weather will bring
work of a different type for mem
bers of the street derjarUnent.
Thoma said his men will won
have to contend with lesvea cover
ing the atreeta.

year . Thoma and hi men will be
busy keeping the road clear of
now.
Snow-clearing work will be made
