samp by Mr. and Mrs. Dale Knox
of Oakridge, and possibly one or
two others her who have not as
yet made up their minds. The group
plans to go to Its old stamping
grounds in the Cliff Springs area.

preliminary scouting trips show that

Klamath Falls after undergoing a
two weeks' training course as a
member of the United Slates ma
rine corps volunteer reserve train
ing program at the Junior Infantry
course school.
Cant. Paige was one of th many
marine reservists, both organised
and volunteer, who received active
duty training at Camp Joseph H.
Pendleton this year. Other Klamath
Falls men who have Just returned
Include Pre Robert R. Rowlon and
Sgt. Donald M. Klrkman, both men
having completed two weeks o f
training with the regular marines
For his outstanding heroism dur
ing World War II. Capt. Paige waa
awarded the nation's highest mili
tary decoration, th Congressional
Medal of Honor. He also wear the
Purp'e Heart, presidential unit ci
tation, and good conduct medal.
