student congress meetings In the
event the elected representative Is
absent.

ketball games and teaching seem to
be the favorite bobbies of Miss
Margaret Kahn who Joins the
KUHS home economics depart
ment this year, coming from Iowa
State college.
Music holds particular enjoyment
for her and aha admits to a'"g'ne
and even piano playing a little, but
she says she enjoys teaching be
cause she likes working with young
people. In addition to teaching
borne economics. Miss Kahn will be
advisor to Sugar Ti Spice club and
the Tea Toilers division of Girls
League this year.
Commented Miss Hahn. "I think
KUHS has a very efficient school
system. In fact." she states, -KUHS

Margaret Williams. 21. British army
girl, was sentenced to death yester
day for tht murder of her sergeant
husband, Montague, In Austria last
July.
Margaret, who according to her
evidence during the trial never con
summated her marriage, was said
by witnesses to be homosexual
Montague Williams, who had
married her 12 weeks before, was
found stabbed to death in the mar
ried quarters for British troops In
a Klagenfurt, Austria, hostel July 4.
Mrs. Williams' defense was that
she had been hit by her husband
and bad bad too much to drink.
