Ft Fort Klamath At the regular meeting of the Civic Improvement club on Friday afternoon, tentative plana were discussed for the annual basaar to be held by the club in late October. At the next meeting on September 16, a definite date will be set and committees appointed for the af fair. In the absence of the president, Mra. Harry Orem, first vice presi dent, was In the chair. It was an nounced that a dance will be held Saturday night, September IT, in the clubhouse, with V am urn's Ser enaders furnishing the music, the public cordially invited. On Sat urday evening, September 10. a wiener roast will be held at Denton park for club members and their families, providing the weather is favorable. IX noi, the affair will be held indoors at the clubhouse, it as decided, Mrs. Loren L. Miller Sr. was wel comed as a new member at this meeting. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Ira Orem and Mrs. Stewart Nicholson, who served refreshments a: the dose of the business meet ing. Tables in the club dining room were lovely with bouquets of colorful early fall blooms from local flower gardens. Also used on the tables were clever and novel arrangements of miniature spurs. boots, saddles and horseshoes, car rying out the western range motif, very appropriate indeed to this lo cality as Wood River vaiier is pri marily a cattle country.
