Both were hoping to become the only 20-game winners in the Far West baseball league this season and both needed two wins yester day to make It. , Here at Oems stadium Jordan pitched his tram to a 10-3 win over the Marysrille Braves In the first game ot a dcubleheader and elected to work the second game also. He came off with an even better-pitched 9-3 win. Carr, a righthander, won his lath game by blanking Willows 1-0 on one hit. then set the Red birds down with only seven hits for a 10-4 nightcap victory and his big No. 20. All yesterday's season - closing games were held to seven Innings. Jordan and Carr. destined to go up next season, finished with 20-7 and 20- w on-lost records respec tively. The league high mark for pitchers, set last year by Medford Manager Larry Bhepard. Is 22-3.
