Restaurant Dishwashing Improved Restaurant and sods fountains showed some Improvement In dish washing methods, according to re ports of a survey conducted by the county health department and the mobile laboratory of the Oregon state board of health. About one-third of the restanranta In the county were tested, accord ing te John Edge, county sanitari an, and the results Indicate a Z per cent Increase In efficiency of dishwashing methods. Fourteen of the so tested showed acceptable bacteria counts on all types of utensils tested and 1 showed no acceptable bacteria count on any types. Results of the swab-iinse samp ling will be followed up with visits to each establishment to correct faulty dishwashing methods and to improve methods of handling and storing dishes and utensils.
