E. McCarthy.
McCarthy, 37-year-old guard at
Veterans' hospital, was found shot
to death at hi home August 3.
Police ruled it iulclde.
A sister. Mr. Edith O. Connelly,
came here from Hyde Park. Mas,
to aay she doubted suicide, and
"suspected foul play. Mrs. Connelly
pointed out that McCarthy's name
waa misspelled In tha note left
behind.

two-year-old lad waa pulled from
a farm area, creek by his father
last evening, then revived by a
neiihbor woman.
Ralph de Vilbias was called to the
creek by his son, Larry. 4. who ran
acros a field to summon aid when
his brother, Roy, tumbled Into the
creek and sank. De Vilbiss found
the boy.
Mrs. Oscar Hoven. a nurse, ap
plied artificial respiration to revive
the youngster who waa recovering
fully today in a hospital here.
