and hungry alt-down strikers from
th Lota coal mine last night and
arrested 35 communist leaders ac
cused of fomenting the trouble.
Officials quoted the miner as
saying communist spokesmen had
convinced them the government had
fallen, that a general strike had
crippled th country and that revo
lution had broken out In Santiago.

Dies In Calif.

the death of a former Klamath
Falls resident, Msrlln Witt Gregory.

for the past two years. Before leav

Gregory, of Blsbee and his brother-
