Picnic Monday
A potluck picnic luncheon and
bualneaa meeting was held by the
Associated Women of the Klamath
county farm bureau on Monday
afternoon at the home of Mrs. Earl
Mark of Henley.
Joan Howell, assistant county 4-H
aent, was presented with a gift of
money from the association by Dor
othea Mack. 4-H chairman, to be
used for needed equipment for the
4H kitchen at the fairgrounds.
Several members volunteered to
act aa hostesses at the exhibit build
ing during the 4-11 fair.
A report was given by Mra. Lee
Holliday on th etat regional di
rectors' meeting In regard to the
proposed project on multiple schler

information on the subject before
the resolution Is acted upon by all

asked to conduct a thorough study
of proposed federal aid to educa

County Judge Irwin Troxrl has
promised to do something about
strike of road workers that ha de
laved repairs.
The judge said nine men hsd ap

men." Troxrl added. "We will be
starting work again In a few days."
The repairs were halted last week
when road crews quit over wage
cut. They had Joined an AFL union
after the county reduced their pay.
