KERNS Firemen Busy Over Sunday, Little Damage The city fire department was busy answering three calls Sunday, two of which were on Addison street. At 13:50 p. m. the red truck made a run to the corner of Addison and Warden streets, where it rcolrd off a grass fire with no damage sustained. Again at 1:45 the fire wagon rushed to Addison street, tills time to the 400 block, and another grass fire was quelled. No damage was suffered here either. The third blare took place at 30 a. m. 8unday. at BM Riverside street, and waa handled by crews of the Klamath Forest Protective associa tion. The fire was Just outside the city limits, and for awhile threat ened to move In on a building, but was finally controlled without dam. age. The city fire truck also answered this call, but stood by at the city limits as a protective guard In rase the flames should menace city prop erty. Another grass fire brought the city fire department out of the sta tion Saturday afternoon. No dam age was caused by the blase which burned at Laguna and Herbert streets at about 13:44.
